Before we headed to the fireworks on the 4th we had our own snaps & light sticks party. And yes, Knox has long sleeves on but he changed to his flag shirt before we left. When we were done Knox asked "When is the eagle going to fly by?". I asked "eagle?". Then Hans said "Ya Mom, the American eagle!".
We picked up Gma Whipple & headed to the fairgrounds so we could watch the show with the music. Turns out the music got messed up & it wasn't quite the show we anticipated. (I feel bad for those who prepared it & then it didn't work out.) The weather was awesome though. It was almost cool as the breeze blew.
After we dropped Gma off the boys talked me into going to Brandon & Lacey's house. A family in their subdivision had a HUGE fireworks show & we got there just in time to see it. It was probably 10K worth of fireworks lining both sides of the street. It was awesome. Taytum even loved it & didn't even cry. Actually the neighbors were there with their kids & the kids all seemed to love it. We got home late but had fun!
