Last weekend was the community wide yard sale. There is a map in the local paper of all the yard sales for the weekend. I realized there was a home down our street having a yard sale & it would bring extra traffic for the day. Hans has been asking to do a lemonade stand for a while now so I thought it would be the perfect time. The boys helped me plan it out, made signs & helped the morning of to set up, make the lemonade & get the treats ready. (we sold rice crispy treats, rice puff balls & cookies) Then they sold from 7:30am to 11:30am. They worked really hard & learned a lot of important things. (One of which was if the cup got too full you don't sip it down. The people in the car laughed & of course we didn't give them that one.)
We had a lot of familiar customers. Emily, Dillon & Gma Whipple stopped by & then the Jones clan. They were doing yard work & out taking pictures of my parents for their mission blog so they all stopped by (That's why Dad is in costume).
Thank goodness for Emily & Bryce's shade tent. That sure made things nice.
